Resin-bound surfacing gives a smooth, seamless driveway with a decorative stone finish and, because it is permeable, it drains through the surface itself. We lay resin-bound driveways across Surrey & London over a suitable base, choosing from a range of aggregate colours and blends to suit the property.
Resin-bound is not the same as resin-bonded: resin-bound mixes the stone through the resin for a smooth, permeable finish with no loose stone, while resin-bonded scatters stone over resin and is not permeable. We fit resin-bound driveways, and because the finish is permeable it drains through the surface itself, which helps with surface-water rules. Where an existing surface is sound and level we can often lay over it, saving the cost of a new base.
